Syracuse.com High School Softball Rankings (Week 5): Major Upsets Shift Top Teams in Class AAA

Syracuse, N.Y. — Last week, Fayetteville-Manlius had an impressive run, which has caused them to soar in the rankings within Class AAA.

The Hornets defeated Baldwinsville and Rome Free Academy last week and jumped from No. 5 to No. 2.

The Bees slid from No. 3 to No. 4, while the Black Knights tumbled from No. 2 to No. 3.

In their respective divisions, five new teams have joined the discussion: Central Square, Mount Markham, Beaver River, McGraw, and Sackets Harbor.

The top-ranked teams in their respective classes remain Cicero-North Syracuse, Whitesboro, Chittenango, Marcellus, Sandy Creek, and Hamilton.

Rankings will be revealed on Tuesdays until the end of sectionals.
