Suki Waterhouse Hints at Nonstop Met Gala Celebrations

No surprise that Suki Waterhouse ’s Met Gala In 2025, everyone exclaims “OMG” when they see this trend.

The Daisy Jones & The Six actress arrived at the Metropolitan Museum of Art May 5 in a Michael Kors creation that was crafted from a suit in keeping with the 2025 theme “ Superfine: Tailoring Black Style .” (Check out all the looks here .)

"Michael has deconstructed a jacket and taken out the panels and made it into a train, which I was obsessed with," the musician explained to E!'s Zuri Hall . "I loved his take on it. I definitely feel very tailored, and this is exactly how I want to be this year. So I feel great, and Michael's just such a visionary and genius."

Even though she mentioned feeling "awesome" about how it looked, more importantly, she noted, "for the very first time, moving around has become quite simple."

Which is key, considering just how much she sinks her teeth into the annual event.

Suki confessed to E! that she often stays out late on Met Gala evenings. She mentioned last year, it was around 6 a.m., and afterward, she boarded a flight. The events are fantastic, with numerous parties where one could easily bounce from one to another—attending up to ten different gatherings.

Even though she might reach her bed before the sunrise this year.

Since welcoming her daughter with fiancé Robert Pattinson Last March, she admitted, "Now that I have a baby, I suspect I won't be able to stay out too late."

While she ventured out to the 2025 Met Gala as a solo act, two years ago she and Robert made their Met steps debut on a special date night as a pair roughly five months since their last one hard launched their relationship at Dior’s fall 2023 menswear show. For the evening’s theme “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty,” Suki stunned in Fendi, and Robert complemented her in Dior.

The musician’s first appearance at the annual event was in 2014 where she walked the steps in a pink gown designed by Burberry for the theme “Charles James: Beyond Fashion,” attending with then-boyfriend Bradley Cooper .

“I loved wearing Fendi to the Met Ball a couple of months ago, but my all-time favorite moment has to be my first ever Met,” she detailed to Harper’s Bazaar in July 2023 . It was many years back, when I had this incredibly stunning Burberry pink rose dress tailored just for me.

The "Melrose Meltdown" artist is recognized for their 1970s-influenced fashion sense, frequently sporting see-through materials and fringe details for an unrestrained appearance. However, they maintain that their individual style continues to change over time.

"I find it fascinating how fashion works; entire new eras can emerge, and before you know it, things you'd never have considered wearing just a few years back become irresistible," she mentioned. Harper’s Bazaar “You could never have predicted that I’d get into wearing mini skirts; nowadays, all I seem to want to wear is denim minis. Am I turning back into a teenager?”

I would say my personal style has never been better than it is right now, mainly due to gaining wisdom as I enter my thirties; there’s definitely been some changes," she went on. "There's an increased awareness about appearance—instead of stepping out of my home looking disheveled, I prefer feeling sophisticated and realizing how this contributes to finding my footing in life.

Currently, Suki has entered her maternal phase. She and Robert keep expressing their affection and joy at being parents since. welcoming their daughter in March 2024. In fact, their daughter inspired Suki’s 2024 song, “Big Love.”

"It’s a really big, almost explosively powerful song about searching for love or experiencing this immense, somewhat Biblical kind of love," explained Suki. Today In December 2024, "Simply spending time with my daughter over the past six months has made me feel as though my heart might burst."
