Michael Pitt Facing Assault Charges After Alleged Cement Block Incident

Michael Pitt has been charged with attacking his former girlfriend using a cement block.

The actor from Boardwalk Empire was apprehended in Brooklyn, New York, facing multiple charges related to four distinct domestic events said to have occurred between 2020 and 2021.

Pitt, who is 44 years old, faces allegations of sexually assaulting his ex-girlfriend along with charges of choking her and using a wooden plank and a cinder block to attack her.

The allegations suggested that all these events occurred at their previous residence in Bushwick, New York.

The actor from "Murder by Numbers" faced charges including first-degree criminal sexual conduct, third-degree criminal sexual conduct, two counts of second-degree assault, two counts of second-degree attempted assault, and second-degree strangulation.

Following his plea of not guilty, the actor from "Seven Psychopaths" put up $100,000 (£75,000) as bail, which was specified by the judge.

"We unfortunately inhabit a reality wherein someone such as Mr. Pitt—an esteemed professional who would never even consider committing these offenses—can find himself arrested based solely on the unsubstantiated claim of a deranged person," stated Cary London, Pitt’s attorney, to The New York Post.

We anticipate demonstrating his innocence via the evidence rather than through the media.

In 2022, an actor from "Funny Games" faced arrest and charges of assault along with petty theft when he reportedly hit another individual several times and seized his mobile phone.
