MCCURTAIN COUNTY, Okla. ( KTAL/KSHV ) — A former coach at Haworth Public School has been arrested for alleged second degree rape reported authorities.

According to court documents, 25-year-old Jonah Davis was taken into custody in early April based on evidence that surfaced during an unrelated investigation.

The McCurtain County Sheriff’s Office stated Davis was accused of inappropriate behavior with a student.

Investigators with the McCurtain County Sheriff’s Office believe that he had previously been in a ‘dating relationship’ with an 18-year-old victim while they were a student and he was a coach at the school. Testimony and phone records indicate that the relationship continued until and after the victim’s graduation.
