Former Georgia Tech DB Cedric Franklin Announces New School
Cedric Franklin, a former defensive back for Georgia Tech, declared via social media that he has pledged to join the Arkansas State Red Wolves. This player from Georgia Tech and Kell High School will be competing in the Sun Belt Conference during the upcoming season.
Prior to his transfer, Franklin was enjoying a fruitful spring season and kept improving his reputation. During the spring scrimmage, he showcased his skills, contributing significantly to the Yellow Jackets' defensive efforts. In 2024, Franklin was honored with the Defensive Developmental Player Award by the Yellow Jackets.
Here is more on Franklin:
During his time at Kell High School, Franklin became well-known as one of the top cornerbacks in Georgia. Rated as a three-star recruit, he played a significant role in establishing one of the finest groups of defensive backs in the state throughout his high school years.
