Woman Accused of Severely Burning Boyfriend with Hot Chicken Grease, Police Say

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — According to the LaGrange police, a woman was taken into custody after she reportedly poured hot chicken grease on her boyfriend during an altercation on Tuesday.

The police were called to address a domestic issue at the Stay Lodge of LaGrange located on Whitesville Street near 1610 around 5:20 pm.

Police discovered a 46-year-old male who had sustained serious burns on the rear part of his head, neck, back, and shoulders.

The man's cohabiting partner, 43-year-old Olympia Laster, reportedly poured hot chicken grease from a pot onto him when he was seated in a chair during an altercation.

The police mentioned that he was transported to an Atlanta-area hospital equipped for treating burns.

Police allegedly located Laster in the vicinity and took her into custody on charges of aggravated assault.
