Tulsa Unveils Housing Tracker Aiming for 6,000 Affordable Units by 2028

On Tuesday, Mayor Monroe Nichols unveiled the City of Tulsa's Housing Tracker to assist in monitoring newly constructed residential units.
The current housing tracker indicates that there are 443 units available online, with 63 of them being affordable options.
For a unit to be deemed affordable, it must have been sold or leased at a cost within reach for the typical Tulsa household earning up to 120% of the Area Median Income.
At the City of Tulsa, we have significant objectives, which demand openness," stated Mayor Nichols. "I am grateful to our housing teams, GIS teams, and Development Services department for prioritizing the monitoring of this data. We will ensure accountability within City Hall and look forward to beginning the process of measuring our advancement towards launching 6,000 additional affordable residences by 2028.
Using the housing tracker, new housing units will undergo monitoring until they reach completion, including final inspections and obtaining the Certificate of Occupancy.
The housing tracker is available at cityoftulsa.org.
