Tuesday Evening's Rainfall Reports Revealed

Our rainy season persists. Yet another bout of precipitation accompanied by intermittent thunderstorms swept across our area on Tuesday morning.

On the southern part of San Angelo, Mathis Field received 3.19 inches of rain on May 6th, setting a new daily record for that day. It was also the third-highest daily rainfall amount ever recorded in May.

Abilene Regional Airport recorded 0.80 inches of rain on May 6th. As of now, Abilene has received 2.36 inches more precipitation than average for this point in 2025.
