Scout’s Take on Madden Williams

Williams’ name was mentioned left and right at Overtime’s OT7 this spring. The playmaker drew plenty of praise from News in A DayDirector of Scouting and Rankings Charles Power while playing for Trillion Boys back in March:

“Madden Williams was unguardable in the short and intermediate areas of the field during week 2 at OT7,” Power wrote . “The Texas A&M commit led all receivers with 13 touchdowns over the weekend. Williams has a great feel for finding open spaces within the secondary and showed outstanding hands and body control. He had several high-difficulty grabs, displaying excellent awareness for the sideline. Williams is incredibly polished and refined from a technical perspective. He’s been well-coached at St. John Bosco and is physically developed. The California native gives the Aggies a high-floor possession wideout who has the skill set to be a high-volume target with the potential to pick up a bunch of first downs.”
