Suspect Flees as Moore Standoff Ends; Police Urgently Seek Public Assistance
On Tuesday evening, Moore police officers were called to handle an ongoing burglary which escalated into a standoff.
As reported by the MPD, shortly after 3:00 p.m., they received a report of an ongoing break-in at an apartment.
Carlos Manuel Uribe, who is 27 years old, broke into an apartment and was carrying a gun.
The MPD along with the South Metro SWAT team emptied out neighboring apartment complexes while Uribe was still inside the unit.

The SWAT team released gas into the area before trying to make entry.
It was determined that Uribe was no longer within the apartment.
Uribe has a current active felony warrant for kidnapping.
