RHA Launches "Summer of Progress" With Federal Street Revamp

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — The atmosphere was jubilant on Tuesday during the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the completion of the Federal Street and scattered sites redevelopment project by the Rochester Housing Authority.

The project comprises 53 affordable and supportive residences in Rochester and is part of a $2 million effort launched by the governor’s office aimed at revitalizing 25 locations across the city.

The launching of RHA’s "Summer of Progress" initiative was initiated with this event, aiming to achieve significant advancements in public housing through numerous upcoming projects.

Several new programs encompass electric vehicle charging points, complimentary internet access, and a shared area designed for neighborhood use.
