Pittsburg High School Names Jesse Moss as New Head Boys Basketball Coach
Pittsburg, KS – Following their subpar performance which resulted in a losing record for the first time in ten years during the 2024-2025 season, Pittsburg Boys Basketball has announced a change at the helm with a new head coach taking over starting in 2025.
Jesse Moss has been appointed as the new Head Coach for the Boys Varsity Basketball team of the Dragons. The institution shared the news through social media platforms. .
Moss hails from Topeka, Kansas, and he gained experience as a player at the college level prior to starting his coaching journey. He played for two years at Iowa Central Community College before moving on to the University of Saint Mary where he spent an additional two years.
Beyond his time as an athlete, Moss started professional coaching at the young age of 20. He gained valuable experience by coaching at three separate high schools in the Topeka and Kansas City region prior to settling into his role in Pittsburg.
