Nike Unveils the Vomero Plus: All the Details on Its Big Comeback

Nike has consistently excelled with the Vomero series when it comes to both comfort and style. As I've mentioned previously, I'll repeat it once more: the Vomero 5 Is among the coolest options available for runners today. In terms of Nike footwear, we've seen models like the Pegasus, Free Runs, and Reacts; not to mention their popular Vomero series. While I believe the Free Run collection might have an advantage in functionality, the Vomeros dominate with their range of colors. These shoes come in as a strong runner-up overall, closely following the Free Runs.

Nike has recently released the official photos of the new Vomero Plus, and personally speaking as someone who runs regularly, I'm quite impressed with the design.

The design of the Vomero Plus significantly differs from the Vomero 5 and more closely resembles the Vomero 18, particularly due to its foam sole. Having worn the 18s, I appreciate the way Nike is moving towards bulkier soles. These thicker soles provide an additional level of support that runners find essential, especially during long-distance runs. The Vomero Plus includes Nike’s ZoomX technology, which was initially unveiled in the VaporFly Elite and remains a key highlight.

ZoomX stands out due to its extremely lightweight design coupled with soft foam cushioning, offering an ideal equilibrium of springiness and support.
