FBI Warns: Predators Targeting Kids via Video Games and Social Media Nationwide
A cautionary message has been issued by Sanjay Vimani, who leads the San Francisco branch of the FBI, regarding an international group known as "764." This organization allegedly uses popular video games to prey upon children with extreme violence and brutality. According to Vimani, this predatory network has affected kids within the Bay Area.
The FBI has recently reported the arrest of two key figures from 764, yet the threat remains quite serious.
The I-Team journalist Dan Noyes has collaborated with the investigation team at ABC News Regarding this, here is the story.
Noyes has spent many years as an investigative journalist, and this tale stands out as one of the most unsettling he’s encountered. It’s crucial for parents to be aware that the game their children might be engaged in at this moment could potentially steer them toward a perilous and aggressive direction. Proceed with caution; certain content within may be distressing, yet it carries significant importance.
A warning, this story could be disturbing for some viewers
A mother and daughter wish not for their faces to be seen, their names known, or their location disclosed. They are merely escaping the horror that is 764.
The mother informed ABC7, "They wanted her to end her life, and she was extremely frightened."
The mother also asked that we replace her voice with a computer-generated one, but the words are all hers.
She explains how predators are scanning online games like Minecraft and Roblox for young girls. They also prowl X, formerly known as Twitter, Instagram and Facebook groups about self-harm and eating disorders, for girls who may be especially vulnerable.
His daughter experienced anxiety and depression starting at 15 years old when a group with 764 members reached out to her, followed by additional individuals joining as well.
"Some of them got her to cut their usernames into her," the mother explained. "And, basically, what they are requesting from the victims just keeps getting worse and worse and worse and worse."

The mother verifies what investigators say -- once 764 members obtain any confidential details or images involving a girl, they intimidate her by threatening to reveal these secrets to either her family or her school -- unless she complies with their demands.
To increase the stress, 764 members might make fake emergency calls about the target’s residence. Consequently, law enforcement shows up with their weapons ready—a procedure known as "swatting."
This occurred with that mother and daughter.
The SWAT incident occurred since she refused to harm one of our cats. It turned out to be the same individual who had been attempting to persuade her to end her own life.
And to broadcast it live.
She mentions that they sent her 15-year-old daughter a suicide manual. This is the same document referenced in the recent federal complaint from last month against accused leader Prasan Nepal, a 20-year-old North Carolina resident known as "Trippy." Also named in the complaint was Leonidas Varagiannis, an American citizen apprehended in Greece under the alias "War,” who is currently battling extradition.
Various motives can fuel such behaviors," Virmani clarified. "These might include what we refer to as an accelerationist ideology, basically aiming at societal collapse.
The head of the FBI office in San Francisco states that their organization currently has over 250 ongoing investigations. Nationwide, all 55 field offices are managing an average of 764 cases apiece that are connected to these inquiries.
Virmani added, "Thus, the FBI is collaborating closely with our partners at the federal, state, and local levels for training, awareness, and collaborative efforts to effectively counter this threat."
MORE: The Dublin murder originated from an exchange between the suspect and the victim on Discord, according to law enforcement officials.
Over recent years, the FBI has apprehended numerous high-profile members of 764 — such as 28-year-old Henry Ayala from the San Fernando Valley, who was accused of possessing child pornography only last month, and 47-year-old Richard Densmore from Michigan, who received a 30-year jail term for engaging in the sexual exploitation of a minor.
Densmore stated, "I have young kids hurt themselves for my sake and perform strange acts."
Before his arrest, Densmore spoke on Discord.
“And I document it,” he stated. “I get others to document it too, as though I’m involved in some awful group, almost like a terrible human sect.”
This organization also poses a terrorist threat," Becca Spinks stated. "They attempt to provoke children into engaging in acts of terrorism, such as school shootings, among other similar actions.
Spinks is an advocate for self-defense, a competitive marksman, and a private detective with extensive experience investigating case 764. They have assisted numerous victims and their families by taking emergency calls and supplying crucial details to police authorities.
BECCA SPINKS Removing the top leadership was an excellent initial step, yet there’s much more work ahead. Ensuring control remains with us and preventing anyone else from taking charge of the group is still something we need to address.
DAN NOYES How does it conclude?
MOTHER Like, what can we do to prevent them from doing this?
DAN NOYES : "Yes."
MOTHER "I’m not trying to sound negative, but right now it seems overwhelming. This illness has engulfed the entire globe. The boy living next door could be committing terrible acts against someone else’s child halfway across the planet, all without his parents being aware.”
That mother's daughter is set to testify in at least one case underway. It could be more.
The victims are young, but so are some of the predators. Several teen 764 members have been arrested.
By the way, victims can also be male. Bottom line, watch your kids. It's so important to get involved in what they're doing online. The companies, including the makers of Minecraft, Roblox and Discord, all say they are aware of the issues and are taking steps to combat those who would prey on children.
