Ball State's Rob Fogler Chooses Kentucky for Offensive Line Career

This offseason, Kentucky experienced significant changes along their offensive line. There has been considerable reshuffling within Eric Wolford’s unit. Recently, the Wildcats secured an additional addition to their lineup, marking their fifth recruitment success during the spring transfer period.

Ball State tackle transfer Rob Fogler pledged to Kentucky on Tuesday.

The player from St. Xavier High School in Cincinnati, Kentucky, played his initial two collegiate football seasons at Ball State University. In 2025, he'll qualify as a redshirt sophomore with three years of athletic eligibility still available. After participating as a left tackle during spring practice under newly appointed Ball State head coach Mike Uremovich, the Mid-American Conference transfer opted into the NCAA Transfer Portal on April 16.

Rob Fogler marks Kentucky's sixth addition to their offensive line for this season. During the spring transfer period, Winter addition Wallace Unamba departed from the program and moved to Virginia. Currently, the university boasts 14 scholarship athletes on their offensive line roster. Among those listed for 2024, Jager Burton, Jalen Farmer, Aba Selm, Hayes Johnson, and Malachi Wood are the sole returning members from last year’s team.
