Sam DeLorenzo was the winning pitcher, pitching 3 innings, surrendering just 1 hit, recording 4 strikeouts, and issuing 1 walk. Binghamton (2-12): Dominick Bernthon got 2 hits out of 3 attempts; Ben Ondrusek recorded 1 hit in 1 at-bat along with drawing 2 walks and driving in 1 run.

Corning (8-3) secured their victory with Kyle Miller pitching a five-hit complete game, striking out seven batters and walking only one at Corning Community College. Reilly Wells scored the sole run during the third inning afterJake Graham hit a single which was followed by an error. Elmira (4-10), meanwhile, saw Aedan Palmer pitch six innings, giving up three hits and allowing just one unearned run, along with recording eight strikeouts and issuing three walks. At bat, he contributed two hits out of four attempts.

Vestal 7, Union-Endicott 2

Vestal (13-2) had Gavin Brady going 3-for-4 with 2 RBIs, Ben Tanton hitting a triple and driving in one run, Landon Pancoast recording just one hit but delivering 3 RBIs, and Parker Terrell pitching for 5 innings allowing 6 hits, scoring 2 runs, issuing 2 walks, and striking out twice. Additionally, both Josh Kweller and Tanton contributed an inning of scoreless relief each. Elmira Notre Dame versus Watkins Glen/Odessa-Montour, game was suspended

The IAC match between the visiting team from Notre Dame and Watkins Glen/Odessa-Monturo was halted due to nightfall during the bottom of the ninth inning. The score stood at 7-6 with END leading, and WG/O-M had runners on all three bases along with one out when the game was stopped.

Vestal 4, Union-Endicott 0

Vestal: Ben Tanton with two doubles and 2 RBIs; Colton Hubbard went 2-for-3 with an RBI; Canyon Kalina also had a 2-for-3 game; Landon Pancoast pitched for 5 2/3 innings, allowing 3 hits, striking out 6 batters, and walking 4, followed by Colin Fimbres who threw for 1 1/3 innings with just one hit allowed. In Oneonta, Stark threw a complete game with three hits allowed, striking out seven batters and walking two, resulting in three earned runs. Carr had an impressive night at bat going 3 for 4, including a triple and driving in four runs. Brockington was also effective, hitting 2 for 3 with a triple and one run batted in. The save went to Colin Trotter who hit a triple, drove in a run, and pitched five innings allowing five hits and two runs (none of which were earned). He struck out six batters and walked two during his appearance.

Tanton: Ben Tanton pitched for 6 innings, recorded 10 strikeouts, allowed only 2 hits, didn’t concede any runs, and went 3-for-3 at bat with two doubles and one RBI; Henry Lay had 2 hits out of 3 attempts, scored 2 runs, and drove in 2 RBIs; Josh Kweller was successful in 2 out of 4 plate appearances with 1 RBI; Canyon Kalina achieved 1 hit in 2 tries and contributed 2 RBIs.

Logan DeMember pitched a three-hit complete game for Elmira, striking out 11 batters, walking one, and going 2-for-2 at the plate with a run scored. Aedan Palmer was 1-for-3 with an RBI, and Quinn Hanrahan drove in a run with a groundout. For Unionville-East Fallowfield (U-E), Joey Gennarelli threw five innings, allowing three hits and two runs, recording six strikeouts but also issuing seven walks.

TAE: Paxton Hoover pitched a two-hit game with 3 runs allowed (2 earned), struck out 8 batters, walked 2, and went 1-for-3 scoring 2 runs; Dylan Beam hit a double driving in 2 runs; Drew Slaven was 1-for-3 with 2 RBIs; Braedyn Gulich also had 1 hit in 3 at-bats with 2 RBIs; Zachary Piper got 2 hits out of 4 attempts and scored 2 runs. WGOM: Austin Preuninger recorded 1 hit in 2 at-bats, scoring 2 runs and drove in one run.

Said TAE coach Chris Bennett: "It was Paxton Hoover's day on the mound. He had command of all of his pitches and pounded the strike zone. He has been doing this all year for us. He has kept us in every game and finally he received the run support to go along with his efforts on the mound. Complete team effort. Really proud of our guys."

Elmira Notre Dame 11, Spencer-Van Etten/Candor 1 (6 innings)

CONCLUSION: Luke Richards pitched a two-hit complete game with 15 strikeouts, walked three batters, gave up only two hits and one run, went 1 for 2 scoring three times; Jhamez Boyd was 2 for 3, scored three runs, and drove in two runs; Malachy Cain had two hits including a double, knocked in three runs; Casey Kreager got one hit out of two at-bats and brought home two runs; Brendan O'Brien also achieved one hit in two attempts and contributed two RBIs.

Horseheads 1, Elmira 0

Horseheads (11-0) had an impressive outing from Cooper Ball who pitched a two-hit complete game, recording 11 strikeouts along with two walks after his teammate Mason Holloway achieved a perfect game earlier this week. In the first inning, Ball scored their only run of the match when he hit a single scoring Josh Stout. Both Stout and Keegan Monahan were at bat twice successfully during the game. On the opposing side for Elmira (3-9), Quinn Hanrahan went up-to-bat twice and managed two successful hits including one triple as well as drawing a walk. Meanwhile, pitcher Jackson Cavalier held strong over six innings, giving away six hits resulting in just one earned run, striking out six batters but also issuing three bases-on-balls.

Rochester Aquinas 10, Corning 3

Corning: John Graham and Caden Barrett both contributed with a hit and an RBI.

In Horseheads, Mason Holloway threw his second perfect game this season, recording 15 strikeouts. He was involved in another combined perfect game as well. Josh Stout scored the game’s sole run with a triple that brought home Patrick Laney. In Elmira, Aedan Palmer pitched six innings, allowing four hits and one run, while tallying nine strikeouts and issuing three walks.

TAE: Dylan Beam went 4-for-5 with a home run and a double; Drew Slaven had a 2-for-3 performance including a double and a triple; Keegan Kelly also hit a triple in his 2-for-3 effort; Jace Shiller was 3-for-4 at bat; Paxton Hoover recorded 2 hits out of 3 attempts.

In Trumansburg: Aidan Clarke-Cabezas had a 2-for-3 game with a double and drove in 5 runs; Willoughby Puryear went 2-for-4 scoring 3 times, hitting two doubles, and brought home one run; Ozzy Vogel-Moore was 2-for-3 with three runs scored and knocked in 3 runs; Nik Nelson hit a triple and crossed home plate 4 times; Connor Sherwood and Anthony Muro both contributed with 2 hits and 2 RBIs each. Thomas A. Edison 8, Bath Haverling 5 (5 innings, due to darkness)

Haverling managed to score seven runs during the top of the sixth inning, taking a 12-8 lead, however, the match had to be halted due to darkness before Edison got their chance to bat in the bottom of that same inning. As a result, the scoreboard reset to reflect the end of the previous completed inning, which granted Edison the non-conference victory.

Section 4 of the handbook for scenarios occurring during regular-season matches states: “If the away team scores one or more runs in the upper portion of an inning and the home side has yet to finish their turn at bat, play rewinds to the most recently finished inning whereupon a victor may be determined, or else the contest ends as either tied or suspended.” This rule adheres to the guidelines set forth by the National Federation of State High School Associations.

TAE: Andrew Slaven had 2 hits out of 4 at-bats with one RBI, while Niko Cheplick drove in two runs. The Spartans rallied to score seven runs in the fourth inning despite being down 5-1 earlier.

Ithaca 4, Elmira 3

In Ithaca’s game, Brady Chase from the Brady Chase team had an impressive performance going 2-for-4 with a home run and drove in 4 runs. Elijah Blas was credited as the winning pitcher after pitching for 4 innings, allowing just 2 hits without conceding any runs and recording 3 strikeouts along with walking 4 batters. For Elmira, Jackson Cavalier pitched effectively over 6 innings giving up only 4 hits which led to 3 runs (of which 2 were earned). He struck out 9 hitters and walked one batter during his outing. Quinn Hanrahan contributed offensively with a single and brought in 2 RBIs. Meanwhile, Logan Palmer hit a double and scored an RBI. Additionally, Aedan Palmer went 1-for-2 at bat adding two walks and scoring once.

Union-Endicott 8, Binghamton 0

Landon Winans (4 innings pitched, 2 hits, 11 strikeouts, 4 walks) and Landon Ferrell (3 innings pitched, 3 strikeouts, 2 walks) teamed up for a two-hit performance; Max Morgan recorded a triple with 3 RBIs; Joshua Mazzarese went 1-for-3, scoring 2 runs, driving in one run, and drawing a walk.

John Walker had a strong showing at bat going 2-for-4 with a double, scoring twice and driving in one run. Similarly, Estyn Elkough was successful hitting 2-for-4 and brought in an RBI. For Elmira, Logan DeMember hit 2-for-3 and managed to score once. Quinn Hanrahan contributed offensively batting 1-for-4 but made significant plays bringing home two RBIs. Dom Ellis also performed well getting two hits out of four attempts and securing one RBI. Additionally, Aedan Palmer excelled both as a hitter and runner, achieving success in his two plate appearances including a double and crossing home plate twice along with contributing one RBI.

Chris Bennett, the coach from Edison, stated, "I'm genuinely impressed with Drew's play today. After our difficult weekend, we needed a match like this one. It's clear that he truly grasps what it takes to lead."

Lansing: Ryan Pettograsso-Houk went 2-for-3 with two doubles and scored twice; Dasch Benson also had a 2-for-3 performance including a home run; Henrik Exelson pitched for 5 innings, allowing 4 hits and 3 runs while striking out 9 batters and walking 4. In Ithaca’s game, Leo Fiorelli went 3-for-5 with an RBI, Estyn Elkouh had a hit in four at-bats including a double, and Ansel Cosgrove also got two hits out of four with a double, scoring twice and driving in two runs. Wiloughby Puryear was also outstanding, batting 3-for-5 with 4 runs, 2 RBIs, and doubling twice. Caleb Clark and Chris Zielewicz teamed up for a no-hitter. Clark fanned 13 batters, issued one walk, and pitched five innings. Zielewicz recorded four strikeouts with zero walks across the last two frames. Joshua Mazzarese went 1-for-2 at bat with 2 runs batted in.

Elmira 4, Vestal 3 (8 innings)

Logan DeMember went 2-for-4 with a double, scored a run, and contributed 3⅓ scoreless innings as a reliever, fanning four batters and issuing one walk for Elmira. Meanwhile, Quinn Hanrahan had a hit in two at-bats and drove in two runs, notably delivering the go-ahead RBI-single to bring home Aedean Palmer during the top of the eighth inning.

In Trumansburg, Aidan Clarke-Cabezas had an impressive game going 2-for-3 with 2 runs scored, driving in 3 RBIs, and pitching for 6 innings where he allowed 4 hits, resulting in 3 runs (of which 2 were earned) and struck out 12 batters. Willoughby Puryear was also effective at bat, hitting 2-for-3 with scoring 4 runs and bringing home one RBI. Additionally, Nik Nelson contributed significantly by scoring 4 times, whereas Anthony Muro hit 2-for-5 and drove in 3 RBIs.

Landen Speciale scored Reilly Wells with the only run of the match in the fifth inning.

M-E: Grady Wilson (4 innings pitched, 3 hits, 0 runs) and Gage Kelly (3 innings pitched, 2 hits, 1 run) teamed up for a five-hit shutout.

Lincoln Bennett had two hits out of four at-bats for Horseheads.
