Police Identify Victim in Non-Fatal Shooting Incident in St. Johnsbury

The Vermont State Police along with the St. Johnsbury Police Department are looking into a shooting incident that did not result in fatalities in St. Johnsbury.
The two agencies are collaborating on the probe.
On Wednesday, law enforcement officials named the victim as 30-year-old Adam Belliveau from St. Johnsbury. According to their most recent statement, he continues to be hospitalized.
VSP mentioned they received notification around 2:20 p.m. that a shooting occurred at a residence on Concord Avenue involving a man.
Nobody is currently in custody.
Sources who talked to NBC5 News off the record mentioned that they were guided away from the location on Tuesday afternoon as law enforcement secured the zone.
On Wednesday, multiple police officers revisited the location, where detectives were observed photographing the area and gathering evidence over the course of the day.
The police stated they will offer further updates as their probe progresses.
