Pair Nabbed for Child Endangerment in Minot

In Minot, North Dakota, police report that two individuals were taken into custody on charges of child endangerment following the detection of methamphetamine use in two of their children.

As stated in a report from the Minot Police Department, they were called upon to help Child Protective Services on March 20 in taking three young children, aged between an infant and two years old, away from a hotel setting.

According to the report, forensic analysts found evidence of methamphetamine through hair strand examinations for two out of the three kids. The analysis couldn't be performed on the remaining child because their hair was too short.

The document states that the kids' mom and dad—a 41-year-old man and a 28-year-old lady hailing from Minot—confessed to consuming methamphetamine while their offspring were around.

According to police, the duo was apprehended on April 25 and faces three felony charges of child endangerment against them.
