Deputies and officers from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office went to the scene. Despite trying to flee, Epps was apprehended without any conflict occurring.

"He was taken to Tennova Healthcare for an assessment by healthcare professionals prior to being admitted to the Montgomery County Jail," according to CPD statements.

On Monday, police thought he was inside a house, trapped. But they later found out that Epps wasn’t actually in the house at all.

He was sought for accusations of domestic violence and unlawful detention.
