Demolition Begins at Former Oak Mountain Amphitheatre Site

The remnants of a long-standing entertainment venue in Pelham are quickly going away.

The city mentioned that the dismantling process has started at the location where the old Oak Mountain Amphitheater used to be.

Images supplied by the municipality depicted substantial heaps of metallic rubble encircling the premises.

The city announced in a social media post, "The location that previously resounded with melodies will shortly transform into an energetic hub that embodies Pelham's vitality, expansion, and upcoming developments... Here’s to celebrating our history and constructing what lies ahead!"

Pelham declared in February that the city intended to purchase the property with aims to enlarge the arts and entertainment district.
